Starshine

About

Starshine (Shine) is a self taught singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist who has been writing, performing and touring the U.S. since 1999. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Shine moved to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and began street performing and rambling across the U.S. to pursue his musical dreams at the age of 15. Performing and sharing stages with great artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, The Dandy Warhols, Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket, Reed Foehl, Jeb Bows, The Shivas, Chain and the Gang, Spindrift, Jim Belushi, Evan Ross, and many more. His musical roots are based in Rock ‘n Roll, Folk-Americana, Soul, Funk, Blues, Glam-Pop, Doo-Wop and Gospel.​ His primary singer-songwriter influences include Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Lee Hazelwood, John Prine, Blaze Foley, Roger Miller, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Jackson C. Frank, Woody Guthrie, Marty Robbins and Robert Johnson.

 

Starshine is currently raising funds to record his first full length studio album
